Measurements on traction battery, battery charger and mains supply to determine energy efficiency were carried out on the tested trucks. Dynamic and static tests were used to measure the energy flows. “The fork lift truck with the lowest energy requirement per hour was the EFG 216 model from Jungheinrich”, so it says in the summary of the energy efficiency test results. “The EFG 216 model from Jungheinrich took first place in the energy efficiency test because of the low energy requirement during operation combined with high efficiency ratios in traction battery and charger.” The test results are now available on the Internet under the address http://www.jungheinrich.de/de/com/index-de/presse/produkt-neuheiten/staplertest.html. Jungheinrich ranks among the world’s leading companies in the material handling equipment, warehousing and material flow engineering sectors. The company is an intralogistics service and solution provider with manufacturing operations, which offers its customers a comprehensive range of forklift trucks, shelving systems, services and advice. Jungheinrich shares are traded on all German stock exchanges.
